Mad

Mr Brown said to British troops he had taken in on a stop over on his way to the Olympic Games:

"we are celebrating the Olympics where we have had great success.
"This week also I believe, that our Olympic athletes, who like everyone else in the country, will remember you have shown exactly the same courage, professionalism and dedication."

So competing in running, jumping and standing still is of the same order as giving your life for your country.

Another waste of our Money, Why the need to visit the troops again?
The applause was deafening when he stopped speaking....not....

After wishing the British BMX cyclist good luck at the Olympics she fell off her bike....she was a dead cert for a gold medal too.

The jinx of Jonah Brown strikes again!

Whoever the twit was who drafted that facile and outrageous sound bite should be forcibly conscripted into either the Paras or the Ghurkhas where at least he/she would begin to understand the meaning of the words used (if they managed to survive until next weekend!).

And as was clear to everybody Trubes, he turned his back on the troops and spoke to the reporters. Hateful man.

He probably wrote the remarks himself Nomad; his reputation for pushing staff out of the way so that he can show them how to do it suggests he would think he can address an army in combat whenever he turns his mind to them.

Highly likely he wrote it himself. The shame that is visited on us by the shameless one!

Perhaps the P.M. was anticipating some rear guard action from the troops.
