Thank you HG! I went to the dawn service for the first time this year (then family communion with the other little sister later in the morning, who had done the daffodils in the church windows). It was too cold to have the whole service outside, but enough of the parish turned up to carry the hymn. It was really lovely. We followed it with a special Easter breakfast and then an Easter egg hunt with clues. The three year-old has turned out to be highly skilled at blowing eggs and painting/decorating them. We like Easter a lot here, with both little sisters carrying off prizes from the Easter Hat Parade, and it has been especially good with fewer chocolates and more chicks, bunnies, primroses and finger puppets. Happy Easter!
