The Scots (SNP) and the Welsh (Plaid), who have their own Parliaments, are forcing a debate in the House of Commons on the dissolution of the Westminster parliament.
A large part of the unelected Prime Minister's Westminster majority, which he took over from Blair's 2005 election victory, is made up of Labour occupants of Scottish and Welsh Westminster seats.

A lot of them are probably members of the local assemblies also. Still more scope for troughing!
Certainly, Raven. Troughing is the carrot and the stick to keep our elected representatives in order.
Downing Street were kind enough to give us a working example of how it's done after Hazel resigned and civil service files were taken for smearing her with expenses she'd all ready put her hand up for.
