It's wonderful to see the Labour faithful being shown the contempt in which their hypocritical masters hold those whose misguided efforts put them into positions of power and luxury.

Mrs Duffy was so pained, so shocked to hear his view of her, his hateful aggressive dismissal of her carefully phrased points and her expressed concerns for the moral stance she assumed was shared with Labour, and for her completely reasonable queries; she had no idea when the journalists asked her if she would like to hear what he had said.

Picking on an elderly widow - hanging's too good for him.

A perfect day's electioneering for Brown and Labour; so wonderful, for one, to hear Brown, in the immortal words of "The Day Today", "speak his brain".

Meanwhile, down the road in Somerset
