Surely those high-necked outfits would be intolerable in modern over-heated buildings?
They look as if they are made of silk dearieme and as such will be both cool and warm as required.

Dearieme, I do not live in a modern overheated building (often to my regret). If I did I would suffer for my Guccis however.
