Electoral fraud is a concern for us all at the moment. It shouldn't be, not in the United Kingdom, but it is, and has been, ever since 2005 when Labour's election fraud caused Richard Mawrey, QC, the election commissioner, to compare the behaviour to that of a banana republic.
'Electoral fraud' and the more widely-defined 'subverting the principles of democracy' can be considered as very serious threats in the upcoming general election. You may care to read all about how it's done (well, an introduction to how it's done) and consider at least safeguarding your own vote, whatever you choose to do with it.

Once the election is called and the parliament dissolved he's finished, Botogol. It's like enticing a vicious creature out of a hole - once it's out you can whack it with a piece of two by four but getting it out is very hard.
I am not bothered about my vote - I'll look after it well, and it will make no difference anyway, this being a solid Labour rotten borough.
I am much more concerned about abuse of postal votes in the "Muslim areas" of places like Birmingham. The stench of corruption from those constituencies is overwhelming, and the persistent refusal of the ruling party to do anything about it is very telling.
It's easy to forget that even if you don't vote you still need to be sure no-one is doing so in your name. Trawling through the marked register for opportunities to take over votes is standard practice.
