The Truest Blogging is the Most Feigning

Be subtle, various, ornamental, clever,
And do not listen to those critics ever
Whose crude provincial gullets crave in books
Plain cooking made still plainer by plain cooks,
As though the Muse preferred her half-wit sons;
Good bloggers have a weakness for bad puns."

(Apologies to W.H. Auden)

HG: You may be excused your bad puns.

I am sure I speak for the majority of your readers when I say you always offer great content-ment...

You make a hot afternoon lovely, Nomad.

I keep sneaking off and reading blogs and newspapers instead of disorderly text. 37 degrees yesterday and today; time to start getting up at five and hiding from the afternoon.

37 Degrees!

Angels and Ministers of Grace, defend us.

Up here in the land of the Unfree we certainly have not reached seventeen, and are not in fact very far above seven.

And still it rains.

Count your blessings, Hats.
